FREE PRACTICE RESOURCE
Make your next practice session count.
You don’t need a paid membership to practice deliberately. Use this free framework as a simple written plan for a week or a single session. Future Golf Locker practice plans are intended to personalize the drills and save your progress over time.
Your one-page practice template
1. My objective: Write one ball-flight or scoring outcome. Example: start driver shots inside an agreed target window.
2. My current pattern: Describe what happens most often, not just what happened on your worst shot. Note whether it is observed, estimated or measured.
3. My practice task: Pick one specific drill connected to the priority. Define a target, number of attempts and success criterion.
4. My time budget: Choose a realistic period. Twenty focused minutes can be useful when the task is specific.
5. My results: Record an outcome you can repeat, such as 6/10 shots starting in your window.
6. My next step: Continue, make the task harder, simplify it, or ask for coaching or fitting help if the pattern needs closer investigation.
Example weekly practice plan
Driver start direction
Monday — establish: Choose a target and observe ten drives. Note start line, curve and strike quality.
Wednesday — train: Work in small groups toward the same target. Count shots starting in a defined window; avoid changing several things at once.
Saturday — transfer: Change targets or simulate tee shots on different holes. Use one ball per target and your normal routine.
Review: Compare the result with your first session. Was the shot pattern measurably different or only the feeling?
